Weatherization Crew Supervisor Trainee (Gettysburg/Dauphin County)
Job Summary: Assist as assigned with direct on-site supervision of weatherization crew assigned, including direction of crew members to obtain maximum production goals and work quality; enforcing program work rules, policies and standards and maintaining a constant awareness for the safety of the workers, customers and home. The Crew Supervisor Trainee is working toward promotion to Crew Supervisor when openings occur.
QUALIFICATON REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years’ experience in the building trades or combination of education, training and/or experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and job orders. Ability to write material usage reports and vehicle logs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, volume and perimeter. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to draw and interpret line graphs. Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to problem solve to determine the most appropriate application or method based on existing conditions and standard practices. Ability to accurately interpret testing results and appropriate treatments obtained from diagnostic equipment. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Pa Weatherization Worker, BPI and any other funding source certifications required.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to dusts or airborne particles including fiberglass and cellulose insulation (respirator protection is provided and required). The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Assistant Fiscal Manager (Gettysburg Office)
South Central Community Action Programs (SCCAP) is looking to hire an Assistant Fiscal Manager to join our organization in our Adams County office. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Fiscal Team working closely with the Fiscal Manager; as well as the ability to work well with diverse service programs and personalities.
During training, this individual will participate in all aspects of the agency finances so they can obtain a well-rounded understanding of systems and processes.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting; non-profit finance and both governmental and grant funding experience; and two years of progressively responsible experience in finance administration is required. Extensive experience (10+ years) in non-profit governmental and grant funded finance administration may be substituted for a degree.
Salary range $45,000 - $50,000, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
