| The Adams County Food Pantries provide food to those in emergency situations. Their are 7 food pantries located throughout Adams County to assist those in need. Food Pantries are located in Abbottstown, Fairfield, Gettysburg, Littlestown, New Oxford, ROI and York Springs. For hours of each food pantry contact the Gettysburg Food Pantry at 334-7634, ext. 131, and speak to Lisa Beaver or Shannon Wansel. |

The 7 food pantries are located in Chambersburg, St. Thomas, Waynesboro, Fayetteville, Greencastle, Orrstown and Dry Run. | WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN (WIC) |
| The WIC Program is a health and nutrition program for women, infants and
children under age 5 with low to moderate income. The Program's objective is to
improve the nutritional status of every woman, infant and child by providing
nutritionally valuable foods to supplement their diets during critical stages of
growth and development in order to prevent health and nutrition problems. WIC
services include supplemental food; nutrition education to ensure the foods will
be properly used; breastfeeding support; and referrals to health and social
