  • Harvest, sort or distribute fruits and vegetables for The Gleaning Project

  • Host a Poverty Simulation, a tool to teach groups about the day-to-day realities of life with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress

  • Create or lead children's programming for SCCAP evening programs

  • Landscaping or weeding

  • OR, call Suzanne at x166 about most urgent needs


Franklin County Only

Adams or Franklin County

  • Harvest, sort or distribute fruits and vegetables for The Gleaning Project
  • Bag or sort groceries in the Food Pantry
  • Become a Support Circles Ally - help a family move out of poverty
  • Create or lead children's programming for SCCAP evening programs
  • Be a Mentor for "Work/Ready" adult students
  • Assist with resume writing
  • Help grow a program by doing data-entry
  • OR, call Suzanne at x166 and discuss sharing your skills

Franklin County Only

  • Assist in the Race Against Poverty (Spring event)
  • Join the "On Call" pool of volunteers when workload is heavy
  • Visit Shelter residents - brighten some lives
  • Provide dinner for Support Circles or the Shelter
