WIC NUTRITIONIST - CHAMBERSBURG, PA.

Full-time position in the WIC Program serving Adams/Franklin County with South Central Community Action Programs where our mission is to empower, engage, and cultivate community action, creating innovative and effective solutions to end poverty!

Education bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Dietetics, Nutrition or another health science field with a minor in nutrition. Registered Nurse.

Base pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience and education.

Full-time: 4-day work week

Benefits: 4-day work week; Paid Time off, paid holidays, Full-time: 401K with organizational contributions of 3% of salary after completion of 90 days and vesting after completion of year two. Individual health insurance with a small employee contribution and life and disability policy.

Summary: Team member will possess strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse groups with high level of respect and integrity. Will perform direct client services, eligibility screening, risk assessment, education, and counseling. Team member will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to travel in service area. Looking for a team player with strong organizational skills, able to establish and maintain productive working relationships while working in a busy, fast paced atmosphere. Franklin County Building and Grounds Maintenance Person

Location: SCCAP Chambersburg Office Locations

Full Time Position - 36 hours per week.

At SCCAP, every role matters. By helping to keep our buildings and grounds safe, well-maintained, and welcoming, you play a critical part in creating an environment where our staff can do their best work to support families. This position primarily with our staff but sets the stage for the impactful services SCCAP provides across our programs. Our facilities include our main office with an adjoining meeting space and our family shelter in downtown Chambersburg, which includes four apartments. The position reports directly to our Building and Maintenance Supervisor.

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

Benefits: Benefits: 17 Paid Time off days per year, 12 paid holidays, 401K with organizational contributions of 3% of salary with vesting after completion of two years. Individual health, vision and dental insurance with a small employee contribution and a life and disability policy. 4 Day Work Week possible.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

·       Must be able to have a clean Childline, State Police and FBI clearance allowing you to work in spaces where kids are present.

·        Perform basic plumbing (e.g., repairing or replacing faucets and toilets).

·        Handle basic electrical work (e.g., replacing ballasts, outlets, and light switches).

  • Competently paint walls and ceilings (some ladder work required)

  • Coordinate outside vendors for repairs or routine maintenance.

  • Complete work orders promptly and maintain quality standards.

  • Provide grounds upkeep, including basic landscaping, weed whacking, and clearing walkways during snow events (snow plowing is contracted out).

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform tasks overhead.

  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team and ability to work self-directed as needed.
