Beginning Monday August 28th, we will once again be accepting applications for assistance for Court Ordered Evictions and Utility Shut Offs for Franklin and Adams County Residents.

Due to limited funding, we will be following the priorities established by the Department of Treasury to prevent evictions for those who are most at risk. Funding is prioritized for families below 50% of median income (listed below) and who have a court ordered eviction, utility shut off notice, or are literally homeless and need help with security deposit and first month’s rent.

SCCAP will not be paying any prospective rent, only arrearages tied to a court ordered eviction notices or shut off notices.

In order to process an application, we must receive all the following documents:

·         The completed tenant application

·         The completed landlord application (including W9)

·         The last 30 days of income for all adults in the household

·  A copy of the Court Ordered Eviction Notice and/or Utility Shut Off Notice.

·         A copy of your signed lease

·         A copy of the photo ID’s for all adults in the household matching the address on the lease.

·         A completed budget and goal sheet explaining how you will afford your rent going forward.

Completed applications for Franklin County can be sent to franklinrr@sccap.org or for Adams County to adamsrr@sccap.org

SCCAP has a limited amount of additional funds and this funding could end at any time.

Under no circumstances can we assist with more than 18 months of help for utilities or rent. If you have been helped and you are still in need call 211 to see if any other assistance is available.

To appeal any decision related to ERAP assistance, please email mshreve@sccap.org or mail to Megan Shreve, 153 N Stratton St, Gettysburg, PA 17325 within 10 days of being denied or of receiving a payment and provide the details and reasons for your appeal.
