Unfortunately, SCCAP no longer has funding through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. We have no programs to help with utilities.
In Franklin county we have a little bit of funding to help rent (if you have a Notice to Quit or Court Ordered Eviction, have not received assistance in the last 24 months, and can show that you are able to support yourself after receiving help.) More HAP can be found below.
SCCAP offers Person and Family Centered Coaching
What Is Person-Centered Coaching?
Person-centered coaching is a supportive, respectful approach that puts you—the client—at the center of the process. Instead of telling you what to do, your coach partners with you to explore your goals, strengths, and challenges. You lead the way, and your coach walks alongside you, helping you discover your own solutions and helping to identify resources to help you on your journey!
Why It Works for You
You’re in control: You set the goals. You decide what matters most.
You’re heard and respected: Your coach listens without judgment and supports your choices.
You build confidence: As you make progress, you gain the tools and belief to keep going.
You get support that fits your life: Coaching is tailored to your unique needs, not a one-size-fits-all plan.

For Franklin County Residents only - HAP funding
We have a limited amount of Homeless Assistance Program Funds. This program requires you to have a Notice to Quit or a Court Ordered Eviction and you must be able to show you are able to pay your rent going forward (enough income coming in to pay all of your bills going forward including your rent). This program can only assist with a small amount every 24 months. If you received more than 3 months of ERAP rental assistance within the last 24 months you are not eligible for HAP funding.
For HAP we need:
A copy of SS Cards and Photo IDs for all adults in the household
A copy of the last 30 days of income for everyone in the family (including child support, SSI, SSD)
A copy of the your bank statement and any cash apps
A copy of your lease (unsigned if you are requesting help with first month’s rent and/or security deposit)
Proof that you have been in Franklin county for 6+ months
Tax return if applying between January and April
Those can be emailed to franklinrr@sccap.org
