Types of presentations:
All about SCCAP and our programs - 30 - 60 minute presentation that shares information about SCCAP and the programs and initiatives we administer. 30-minute presentations are also available for specific programs such as The Gleaning Project, Support Circles, and Homeless Shelters.
Self-Sufficiency and the Cliff Effect - 30-minute presentation with a 20-minute activity designed to share what it takes to reach self-sufficiency in our communities.
How does poverty affect the whole community? What can we do about it? - 60-minute presentation that provides community demographics, the cliff effect, stats about poverty and potential solutions, and ways to get involved.
Understanding Economic Differences – 2 – 6 hour training that provides a greater understanding of how economics and scarcity impact our thinking. This provides a better understanding of the logic that might exist behind the decisions people make and helps us step back from judgment so we can better understand people and effectively help folks on their journey to stability.
